We collect as little as we can, use it to run your party and to measure our ads, and never sell it for money. This policy explains what we collect, why, who helps us, how long we keep it, and your rights.

What we collect and why

Nicknames: please use a first name or a fun name, not your full name.
We don't collect payment card details (PayPal handles those), your precise location, your contacts, or anything from your phone beyond what's above. We use only your country (from your IP address) to decide whether to show the ad-cookie banner.
Cookies and storage
- Ad cookies. Our home, game, checkout and thank-you pages use TikTok and Meta pixels to measure our ads. In the UK, EEA and Switzerland they only load if you tap Accept on our banner. Everywhere else they're on by default, and you can turn them off any time with Ad cookies: off at the bottom of our site; we also treat your browser's Global Privacy Control signal as "off." The game itself never loads ad cookies.
- Our own analytics run without cookies, and we've told our analytics provider not to store IP addresses.
- Your phone stores a small code so you can rejoin your seat if you lose signal. The game needs it to work. It stops working when your party is deleted, and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
- PayPal sets its own cookies on its checkout. See PayPal's privacy statement.

These providers may process data outside your country. Where the law requires, we rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
We never sell or rent your personal information for money. We share the limited ad-measurement data above with TikTok and Meta only when ad cookies are on. Under some US state laws this counts as "sharing" for advertising; turning ad cookies off stops it.
How long we keep it

Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to show you, correct, export or delete your information, to stop using it for a purpose, or to withdraw your consent. Email hello@sugardagger.com. We reply within 30 days and won't charge you. We may need to keep some records (like tax records) even if you ask us to delete them.
If you're unhappy with how we handle your information, please tell us first. You can also complain to your privacy regulator: the OAIC (Australia), the ICO (UK), the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or the Privacy Commissioner (New Zealand). If you live in a US state with a privacy law, you have the rights that law gives you, including opting out of ad sharing: use Ad cookies: off or Global Privacy Control, or email us.
Children
Sugar Dagger isn't for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. The buyer must be 18 or older. If you think a child under 13 has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change matters, we'll tell buyers by email.
